Ray Lynch began building acoustic guitars as a hobby in 1985, and has now built over 150 guitars!
C. R. Lynch & Son Guitars specialize in high quality, custom, acoustic instruments. These guitars are totally handcrafted from the bending of the side to the jointing of the top and back of the instrument. The necks are hand-shaped and can be customized to meet the needs of the customer.
All bracing is hand-shaped and scalloped to complement the tone of each instrument.
The basic model takes approximately 80 hours to complete. More elaborate models with custom features can take 120-150 hours to build.
Ray's son, Chris Lynch studies the guitar-building trade with his father. Chris specializes in mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays.
